Job summary

Vine Line Produce in the Midwest is seeking a sanitation-focused professional to perform daily cleaning duties in warehouse and office spaces. You will follow SSOPs, handle chemical cleaners, and maintain accurate logs and records.

The role requires 1–2 years of sanitation experience, basic English communication, and the ability to work in cold, refrigerated, and ambient environments. Compensation is $20.00 per hour with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• 1–2 years of experience in sanitation, janitorial, or cleaning roles within industrial, manufacturing, or food processing settings.
• Experience with working in different temperature settings (Freezer, Refrigerated, Ambient).
• Familiar with Food Safety procedures.
• Must be able to read, speak, and write English satisfactorily; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform sanitation duties for the warehouse and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials properly.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment.
• Check and notify management of pest issues and safety hazards.
• Complete and maintain required cleaning logs and records accurately.
• Maintain records using Provision Analytics Software.

Essential Functions:

• Perform sanitation duties for the warehouse and office spaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Remove all visible soil by wiping/brushing down designated areas
• Collect and dispose of waste and recycling materials properly
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
• Check and notify management of pest issues
• Assist in chemical supply inventory
• Notify any safety hazards or maintenance issues to Management
• Complete and maintain required cleaning logs and records accurately and promptly
• Perform work in accordance with established SSOP’s(Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures)
• Perform sanitation duties with utilization of equipment. such as Bailer Machine, Sky Jack, Forklift, Walkie Ryder, and electric pallet jacks. Previous experience is a plus
• Keep record documents up to date – Daily, Weekly, Monthly, using Provision Analytics Software

Work Schedule:

• Monday – Friday (8:00am – 4:00pm)

Compensation:

• $20.00/hour

Physical Demands:

• Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for short periods of time
• Frequently carry, push/pull and lift up objects up to 50lbs
• Stand, walk, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
• Repetitive motions may be required, including scrubbing, climbing, or reaching above shoulders
• Work in cold and wet cooler conditions for extended periods of time
