Job summary

Endeavor Health in Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a part-time Dishwasher to support patient care services. The role involves tray line prep, dish room setup, cleaning duties, and general kitchen sanitation.

You will work about 20 hours weekly with a rotating schedule including weekends and holidays, and compensation includes premium pay for specific shifts.

Responsibilities

• Participates in tray line functions; loads trays onto patient carts and assists in assembling food on patient trays.
• Sets up dish room and directs dish room workers in washing dishes and cleanup.
• Washes and sanitizes pots and pans; performs major cleaning throughout kitchen, cafeteria and dish room.
• Sweeps and mops floors; removes garbage and waste; serves and cleans up for hospital functions.
• Adheres to safety standards and guest relations policies; attends mandatory in-service programs.

Hourly Pay Range:

$17.78 - $24.89 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Dishwasher
• Location: Arlington Heights, IL
• Part Time, 20 weekly hours
• Hours: Mon-Sun 6:30AM TO 9:00 PM, rotating weekends & holidays
• Required Travel: None

What you will do:

• Participates in tray line functions; sets up loading station, stocking as necessary. Loads trays onto patient carts; may assist in assembling food on patient trays.
• Sets up dish room for daily work. Directs dish room workers in proper washing of dishes and cleanup of dish room.
• Washes and sanitizes pots and pans.
• Performs major cleaning jobs throughout the kitchen, cafeteria, and dish room. Performs other miscellaneous cleaning duties as requested.
• Sweeps and mops floors in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Removes garbage and waste from kitchen and cafeteria.
• Serves and cleans up for special hospital functions.
• Adheres to departmental and hospital safety standards in order to maintain a safe patient care and working environment. Attends mandatory in-service programs.
• Adheres to the hospital's Guest Relations policy.

What you will need:

• Experience: Tray line and kitchen experience is preferred.
• Unique or Preferred Skills: The ability to speak and read English.
