AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks a dedicated dishroom attendant to operate and sanitize industrial dish machines and related equipment, ensuring a clean, safe food service area. You will manage stock, waste, and storage while supporting continuous improvement and safety initiatives.

Requirements include English proficiency, ability to follow directions, and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Job Description

Operate, clean, and sanitize industrial dish machines, three-compartment sinks, and other heavy‑duty equipment in compliance with FDA Food Code and HACCP standards. Use industrial‑strength chemicals, cleaning supplies, and equipment safely and effectively, following all instructions and maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of proper handling procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization across all assigned areas—including production zones, dish rooms, storage areas, and loading docks—ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. Unload, inspect, and store food production stock orders; manage trash and recycling removal efficiently, ensuring proper sorting and secure handling. Communicate equipment or process issues promptly to supervisors, support team productivity, and contribute to continuous improvement and safety initiatives. Other duties as assigned.
