Job summary

JBS Foods in Green Bay is seeking a Sanitation Hourly worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in production areas on 2nd or 3rd shift. You will follow SOPs, handle chemicals properly, and disassemble/reassemble equipment as needed.

Job Title: Sanitation Hourly

Location: Green Bay

Reporting to: Sanitation Supervisor

Hours: 2nd shift: 6pm-2am, 3rd shift: 11pm-6:30am

Hourly Wage: $22.40

Essential Job Functions

• Cleaning and sanitizing production areas
• Following sanitation production and SOP’s
• Proper chemical handling
• Disassembly and reassembly of equipment when required.
• Maintaining cleanliness and preventing cross contaminations
• Completing sanitation documentation and checklist
• Complete mandatory safety training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Other duties as assigned

Experience Required

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred

Skills/Abilities Required

• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work in hand scrubbing and running a hose.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and/ or crawl for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
