Job summary

McLane Company, Inc is hiring a Sanitation Teammate in Temple, Texas. This role involves maintaining clean offices, break rooms, DC, and transportation areas, with duties including trash removal, sanitizing restrooms, and cleaning floors and surfaces.

The position starts at a pay rate of $17.25 per hour. Benefits begin on the 60th day and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave from day one, and paid holidays after 90 days, plus a 401(k)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English well enough to perform job tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and transportation areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; empty trash; replenish supplies.
• Sweep/mop floors, wash windows, and keep areas presentable.
• Clean docks, racks, and pallet areas; manage trash in division grounds.
• Paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
