Job summary

Pilgrim in Souderton, PA is hiring for an JBS Sanitation Hourly 3rd shift role. You will clean and sanitize production areas and complete mandatory safety and GMP training. The job requires standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a high-speed environment.

You will work with chemicals using appropriate PPE, in a setting with cold and hot areas, loud machinery, and slippery floors. Attendance and safety records matter, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a meat processing plant or similar manufacturing setting preferred.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend and crawl for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in extreme temperatures with frequent exposure to moving machinery, hot water and slippery floors.
• Work in a fast-paced environment, with repetitive motion work in hand scrubbing and running a hose.
• Must be able to work with multiple chemicals with proper training and personal protective equipment.

• Complete mandatory food safety/GMP training as outlined for the job assignment.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.

Experience/Skills/Abilities:
