Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to keep offices, break rooms, DC and transportation areas clean and safe.

You’ll perform routine cleaning, trash duties, and surface sanitization to support daily operations. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with a $16.50 hourly pay, comprehensive benefits starting after 60 days, and opportunities for advancement within a safety‑driven, warehouse‑focused culture.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English to perform job tasks safely and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Clean offices: vacuum/mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls.
• Sanitize restrooms: clean surfaces, empty trash, mop floors, replenish supplies.
• Clean break rooms, entrances, locker areas: wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, replenish supplies.
• Sweep/mop floors and clean dock plates in DC/Transportation areas; maintain pallets.
• Tend grounds: pick up trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans.
• Paint interior and exterior facility areas.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.
• Shift: Monday through Friday

What you’ll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
