Job summary

Schwan's is seeking a Full-Time sanitation associate for a food manufacturing environment in Oklahoma. Starting pay is $19.50 per hour with a $1.50 shift differential for hours 6 p.m.–6 a.m. The role emphasizes cleaning and sanitizing equipment and adherence to GMPs and safety policies.

Responsibilities include operating cleaning equipment, following sanitation schedules, and documenting chemical use and concentrations. Strong attention to detail and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 0–1 year of related experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment preferred.
• Basic understanding of facility cleaning procedures and GMPs.
• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies and procedures.
• Flexible availability to work full-time, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required.

Responsibilities

• Operate steam and high-pressure hoses while safely cleaning and sanitizing equipment, tools, and facility to ensure all soil and contaminants are removed per procedures.
• Operate COP tank cleaning equipment to clean disassembled equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed.
• Follow sanitation schedules to conduct and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line.
• Use and document chemical use to stated concentrations and for appropriate applications.
• Verify and document that correct chemicals and concentrations are used and that cleaning and sanitizing is complete to deliver equipment and infrastructure that is clean and passes micro indicator tests.

• Ability to follow regulatory, customer, and company sanitation policies and procedures.


• Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions, including hot/cold and wet/dry areas.


• Flexible availability to work full-time, overtime, weekends, or alternate shifts as required.
