Job summary

JBS Pork in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a Sanitation team member for the 3rd shift. This full-time role requires flexible hours and a hands-on approach to maintaining clean, sanitary conditions in our casings facilities and production areas.

You will operate cleaning tasks, follow food-safety protocols, lift up to 50 pounds, and use PPE correctly while supporting ongoing production.

Responsibilities

• Properly maintain and sanitize facilities (casings) machinery and equipment for efficient production.
• Operate heavy equipment.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Expected to work hands on at high speed and times to lift over 50 pounds.
• Must keep work areas clean and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Must adhere to JBS specifications in product to ensure quality of meat.
• Stay aware of your surroundings and notify a supervisor if you recognize a hazard.
• Perform various cleaning and sanitation tasks with little supervision including scrubbing walls, floors, tables, hallways, etc.
• Perform various other duties as needed or as assigned.
