Job summary

Hire Velocity is seeking a skilled Sanitary Process Piping Technician to fabricate and assemble sanitary stainless steel piping and skids in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will measure, cut, fit, and weld components per drawings and P&IDs.

Responsibilities include fitting valve manifolds, tanks, and process vessels, ensuring hygienic joints (3-A, FDA, ASME BPE) and proper surface finishes. Experience in Tri-Clamp connections preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of dedicated experience in sanitary process piping.
• Proven track record of fitting up complex valve manifolds and stainless steel process equipment.
• Hands-on experience fitting up and aligning sanitary process tanks.
• Strong understanding of sanitary connections (Tri-Clamp, Bevel Seat), surface finish requirements, and passivation.
• Skilled in using sanitary pipe cutters, facing tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
• Direct background building process skids or modular systems for the food, dairy, beverage, or pharmaceutical industries.

• Maintain strict adherence to hygienic design standards (e.g., 3-A, FDA, ASME BPE) to ensure crevice-free, contamination-resistant joints.
