Job summary

Bykowski Equipment Co. in California invites a Process Engineer skilled in sanitary piping design for the food manufacturing industry.

You will design and troubleshoot process piping systems, create PFDs and P&IDs, perform BTU and pump sizing calculations, and coordinate with clients on site visits and project requirements. Ideal candidates hold a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, experience with AutoCAD/Plant3D/Inventor, and strong knowledge of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience creating PFDs and P&IDs.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Plant3D/Inventor and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Design and troubleshoot process solutions for sanitary piping.
• Create and interpret process flow diagrams and P&IDs.
• Design layouts for plant systems and perform BTU/heat transfer calculations.
• Coordinate site visits with clients and develop process requirements.
• Maintain communication on progress, lead times and delivery dates.
