Engage with Melty guests, guide them through the ordering process, and ensure they have a memorable experience. Make every order a masterpiece in both look and taste. Handle some opening and closing duties.

Sandwich Shop Crew Member Responsibilities

1. Warmly greet and engage each guest.
2. Assist guests in the selection process.
3. Responsible for accurate cash handling, including opening and closing accounting duties.
4. Enter orders into the point of sale (POS) system, collect payment, provide correct change, etc.
5. Have a basic understanding of cooking and serving food, and can read and follow basic recipes and procedures.
6. Measure and assemble ingredients to create melts, sauces, sides, and desserts.
7. Operate and/or be familiar with food slicers and kitchen knives.
8. Embrace and promote all facets of Melty Principles.
9. Exhibit product knowledge to support all functions at a Melty restaurant.

Sandwich Shop Crew Member Qualifications

• No prior experience or training necessary.
• Previous guest service and/or food & beverage experience preferred.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Reliable transportation or reliable use of public transportation.
• Must obtain a current Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment.
