Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is hiring a Sandwich Maker to join a dynamic team offering from-scratch breads, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest ingredients. You will prepare items quickly and accurately, maintain sanitation, and support other departments as needed.

A successful candidate will have 1+ years kitchen experience (preferred), comply with food safety regs, and be available mornings and daytime hours. 18+ years old required.

Qualifications

• Must have morning and daytime availability.
• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (preferred but not required).
• Ability to comply with local, state, and federal food handling & sanitation regulations.
• Shifts start as early as 7am and end as late as 11pm Monday–Saturday.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meal items according to specifications.
• Work within a dynamic team across pastry, bread, soups, salads, and sandwiches.
• Help other departments when needed and maintain a clean, organized station.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Sandwich Maker! In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
