Job summary

Kneaders Bakery and Cafe is seeking a Sandwich Maker in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting. Prepare items from scratch including sandwiches, pastries, and salads using honest ingredients. Shifts start early and vary through the week, with Sundays and major holidays closed.

Qualified applicants will be detail-oriented, capable of multitasking, and adhere to food safety standards while delivering great guest service.

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience preferred but not required.
• Attentiveness to local, state, and federal food handler & sanitation rules.
• Flexible schedule; shifts vary; early mornings and late evenings Mon–Sat.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals and sandwiches using fresh ingredients per Kneaders recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and station.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Sandwich Maker! In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
