Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Sandwich Maker to join our team. You will work within a dynamic group offering a menu from scratch baked breads and pastries to hearty soups, salads, and sandwiches made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker will contribute with a can-do attitude, multitask effectively, and help other departments as needed while adhering to safety and quality standards. The role supports flexible scheduling across 7am–11pm shifts, Monday through Saturday.

Qualifications

• A "can do" attitude - ability to work quickly and confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask - learn from mistakes and look for opportunities to step in and help other departments even before being asked
• Flexible schedule standards — Sandwich Maker shifts vary week to week based on customer traffic and time of year

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dynamic team to prepare sandwiches and other menu items from scratch baked bread and pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches using honest, whole ingredients
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards and comply with local, state and federal regulations

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Sandwich Maker! In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
