Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Sandwich Maker to join its culinary team. You will prepare a variety of sandwiches, pastries, soups, and salads using scratch-made bread and high-quality ingredients.

Qualifications

• A 'can do' attitude and ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare items per specification.
• Ability to multitask and step in to help other departments as needed.
• 1+ years kitchen/work experience preferred but not required.
• Awareness and compliance with local, state, and federal food handler and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule; shifts vary by week and season; early start around 7am, late finish around 11pm, Mon-Sat.
• Must be at least 18 years old to be considered.

Responsibilities

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Sandwich Maker! In the role of Sandwich Maker, you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes, & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Sandwich Maker at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• 1+ years kitchen/work experience (this is preferred but not required)
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Sandwich Maker shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year. Shifts start as early as 7am & end as late as 11pm Monday - Saturday.
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
