Job summary

SUBWAY Morgantown is seeking a Sandwich Artist™ to serve customers promptly while maintaining high hygiene standards and a friendly attitude.

You will assist with food preparation, stocking, cash handling, and daily safety checks, contributing to a clean, efficient store environment. This role offers both part-time and full-time opportunities and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Perform such similar, comparable, or related duties as may be required or assigned.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries and check in stock.
• Daily bread counts.
• Food preparation including bread and cookie baking.
• Comply with Food Code of Practice.
• Ensure food is prepared and stored and preparation areas are maintained according to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Carry out temperature checks and record as per company process.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning schedules as per cleaning chart.
• Take precautions to prevent theft of, and damage to, the stock or store.
• Follow company security procedures.
• Secure cash and stock from loss or theft.
• Count end of shift monies and drop in safe.
• Follow safety procedures to prevent injury.
• Provide a safe work environment for employees and customers.
• Maintain high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet SUBWAY® and customer expectations.
• Work as a team member.
• Complete training courses as directed by the SUBWAY® Manager.
• Ensure customers are served in an efficient and friendly manner.
• Maintain high personal standards in both presentation and work habits.
• Ensure that Health and Safety standards are met.
• Complete daily work routines in an efficient and timely manner.

Position Summary

A Sandwich Artist™ serves and adds value to customer needs in an efficient and friendly manner. This position promotes SUBWAY® brand awareness and ensures hygiene standards are met.

Key Accountabilities

Store Merchandising

• Receive deliveries and check in stock
