Job summary

Subway in Iowa City and surrounding areas is hiring a Sandwich Artist® to provide fast, friendly service, prepare meals, and keep a clean, well-organized store. Immediate raises and advancement available based on skills and knowledge; flexible schedules and growth opportunities within our family of restaurants. Pay starts at $12–$14 per hour (tips included with $2–$3 tip per hour).

Training wage reviewed at 30 and 60 days. Expected hours: 20–40 per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fast, friendly, and efficient customer service to every customer whether online, on the phone, or in person
• Accurate money and inventory controls - including running a Point-Of-Sale system
• Keeping a clean store - including daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks
• Opening or Closing the location for the business day
• Ability to take direction from the actively engaged franchisee, Store Director, and Shift Supervisors.

Job Responsibilities:

Short in-person interview will be required. Pay is dependent upon experience. Initial training wage is reviewed at 30 and 60 days of employment.
