Job summary

EYAS Hospitality Group, a Subway franchisee, is seeking friendly sandwich artists to join our growing team in Maryland. We value hospitality, integrity, and team growth and offer opportunities across our 73 Subway locations.

You will greet guests, input orders, handle payments, suggest add-ons, and keep a clean, safe workplace. We provide competitive hourly pay, benefits, on-demand pay, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction

• Reliable transportation and ability to work long shifts
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform duties

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, make eye contact, smile, and answer questions about the menu
• Accurately input orders into the POS system, including modifications
• Process cash, card, and other payments with correct change
• Suggest add-ons or combos based on promotions and orders
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer and proper cash handling
• Resolve customer complaints with respect and process refunds as needed
• Assemble food orders according to specifications and packaging requirements
• Keep the work area clean, including counters, dining area, and restrooms
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Bake bread and cookies daily

What You'll Do

• Greet guests making eye contact, smiling and answering questions about the menu
• Accurately input orders into the POS system, including modifications and special requests
• Process cash, credit card and other forms of payment, ensuring correct change is given
• Suggest additional items or combos to customers based on promotions and their orders
• Maintain a balanced cash drawer, following proper cash handling procedures
• Resolving customer complaints with respect and processing refunds as needed
• Assemble food orders according to specifications, including packaging and condiments
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including counters, register, dining room, restroom and exterior
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations and standards
• Bake our delicious bread and cookies each day

What You Bring

• A genuine passion for hospitality, people, and guest satisfaction. Self-motivation, a positive attitude, and a commitment to doing the right thing. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliable transportation and ability to work long/irregular shifts when required. Physical ability to meet restaurant demands: standing, lifting, bending, squatting, reaching, sweeping, mopping, and working in varied temperatures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, prioritize and organize while having a sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Valid driver's license. (Preferred)
