Job summary

Subway is hiring Team Members to join our local restaurant team in Ohio. You’ll help guests choose meal options, prepare and serve fresh food, and keep the dining area clean and inviting. Training is provided, and roles include both full-time and part-time shifts with day, evening and weekend hours depending on location.

Ideal candidates require no prior experience and should be able to lift up to 30 pounds as needed while maintaining food safety standards.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent Guest experience by assisting guests and fulfilling orders from start to finish
• Uphold food safety standards while preparing and serving fresh food daily
• Work with teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean and maintain a welcoming environment for guests

Key parts of your day to day will consist of:

• Working with our Guests to knowledgeably recommend meal options and fulfill their orders from start to finish

• Working with your teammates to keep all areas of the restaurant clean while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere for our Guests

PREREQUISITES

Education:

Some high school or equivalent

Experience:

No previous experience required

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instruction.

Physical:

Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed and to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. This position requires bending, standing and walking the entire workday. Must have the ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.
