Qualifikationen

• BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in natural resource management or related field.
• Three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience developing, negotiating, and implementing contracts/plans.
• Experience with ArcGIS, Word, Excel, Outlook and general software tools.

Aufgaben

• Lead restoration and management of preserves in the Sandhills for biodiversity, ecosystem function and resiliency.
• Oversee fire management on preserves, update burn plans and readiness of equipment.
• Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and support fundraising targets.
• Supervise staff and seasonal crews; coordinate with partners and stakeholders.
• Develop partnerships and provide technical assistance in fire management and stewardship.
