Since 1982, Goldshield has set the bar in the fiberglass industry. Our facility is located in Decatur, Indiana, where we manufacture fiberglass parts for Fleetwood, Honda, and Daimler. Goldshield also manufactures fiberglass for school buses, emergency vehicles, and heavy-duty trucks.

Sanding - the process of sanding the gelcoat surface in preparation for primer paint application.

1. Sander must meet the following criteria:
1. Completion of appropriate training certification
2. Consistent and proven attendance record
3. Maintain housekeeping and safety standards
4. Possess social skills for compatibility with all employees
5. Willing and able to perform all job duties in the sanding area with quality and quantity standards
6. Properly maintain all tools and equipment
7. Use all materials/supplies fully with minimal scrap
8. Violation of guidelines may result in loss of operator status
2. Sander must meet basic physical criteria as per worksteps program
3. Environmental conditions and hazards include:
1. Exposure to noise levels below 80 dB
2. Exposure to styrene vapors below 50 ppm
3. Exposure to fiberglass dust
4. Responsible for verifying work quality affecting the end product
