Job summary

Bass Cat and Yar-Craft Boats in Midway, AR, is seeking hardworking individuals to sandblast trailers and cut parts for the welding department. The ideal candidate will cross-train in welding and be a team player.

This first-shift role runs 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Safety-sensitive position with drug testing and respirator requirements; physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds and non-climate-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• Sandblasting experience required.
• Willing to cross-train in welding department.
• Team player with safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Sandblasting and utilizing proper PPE.
• Cut parts for welding department utilizing the Iron Worker.
• Perform simple maintenance and repair as required.
• Perform other duties, assignments, and responsibilities as needed.

Job Purpose

We are looking for hardworking individuals to apply that can primarily sandblast trailers as well as cut parts for the welding department. The ideal candidate for this position will be willing to cross train in every aspect of the welding department and be a team player.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
• Be able to bend at waist and knees and stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds when necessary, to move equipment around in the department.
• This is a safety sensitive position.
