Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Sandblaster for a company based in Spartanburg, SC. You will prepare and finish metal surfaces to meet quality and safety standards while working with a growing team. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm, with full-time, temporary-to-hire potential.

The position offers weekly pay and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus a 401(k) plan and holiday bonuses after meeting service thresholds.

Qualifications

• Previous sandblasting or industrial painting experience preferred.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Ability to lift and move heavy loads safely.
• Good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate

$18.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours

Monday through Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm

Sandblaster Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
• Remove rust, scale, paint, and other contaminants.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Maintain and clean equipment regularly.
• Closely always follow safety regulations and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.

Sandblaster Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous sandblasting or industrial painting experience preferred
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Physical strength and stamina lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
