Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, grease, rust and old paint from surfaces.
• Prepare surfaces before applying coatings or paint.
• Monitor pressure and flow of abrasive materials for proper blasting.
• Follow safety procedures to protect workers from hazards.
• Inspect and maintain sandblasting equipment and tools.
• Coordinate tasks with supervisors and other workers.
• Document issues related to sandblasting operations to supervisors.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor/management.

Excellent ClientIn MidlandIs seeking aSandblaster/Yard HandJob duties:Operate sandblasting equipment to remove dirt, grease, rust, and old paint from industrial equipment and surfaces.Ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and cleaned before applying new coatings or paint.Monitor and adjust the pressure and flow of abrasive materials to ensure proper blasting of surfaces.Follow safety procedures and protocols to protect themselves and other workers from potential hazards.Inspect and maintain sandblasting equipment and tools to ensure proper functioning and prevent breakdowns.Communicate with supervisors and other workers to coordinate the schedule and assignment of sandblasting tasks.Document and report any issues or incidents related to sandblasting operations to supervisors or management.Any other tasks assigned by supervisor/upper management

Requirements
