Job summary

Anchor Fabrication is seeking motivated Sandblasters for our Coatings department. You will prepare metal by sandblasting and cleaning surfaces to meet customer specs, document blast profiles, and maintain blasting equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year blasting experience in production settings, basic measuring tool proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. Safety-aware and team-oriented applicants are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience blasting in a production/industrial environment.
• Ability to read tape measures and use measuring tools.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Comfort in a shop environment with noise, dust, odors, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare metal for painting by sandblasting and wiping down steel.
• Use measurement devices to measure and record sandblast profile.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on blast equipment.
• Clean blast booth, lights, and change filters.
• Follow safe operating and lifting procedures.

Anchor Fabrication has immediate openings for highly motivated Sandblaster’s to join our Coatings department.Position Summary:The Sandblaster’s role is to use various blast media and blasting equipment to prepare parts and assemblies for coating, meeting or exceeding customer specs and productivity requirements by ensuring correct media and equipment settings.
