Job summary

Horsepower Automotive Group is seeking a motivated Sandblaster for our Arizona-based production facility. You will operate sandblast equipment, perform basic maintenance, and keep the workspace safe and organized to ensure peak performance.

We offer an air-conditioned facility, hourly pay of $18–$20 with weekly pay, Monday–Friday, paid holidays, full benefits, and all tools provided. Training is available for the right candidate, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift 50–100 pounds.
• Previous sandblast experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate sandblasting equipment daily.
• Set up and shut down the sandblast facility.
• Keep work area organized and safe.
• Use hand and power tools as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

The Role

The Sandblaster is responsible for the daily operation of sandblast equipment, basic machine maintenance, and keeping the work area clean and organized to ensure safety and peak performance.

Responsibilities

• Daily operation of sandblasting equipment
• Basic setup and shutdown of the sandblast facility
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of work area
• Basic hand tool and power tool use
• Troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong judgment and problem-solving ability
• Detail-oriented with a focus on safety and quality
• Self-motivated and responsive to production metrics
• Team player who puts the group's success first
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
