Job summary

Pathward is seeking a Manager, Sanctions Operations to lead day-to-day OFAC, 314(a), and PEP screening queues, ensuring timely dispositions and SLA adherence.

You will supervise the team, provide second-level reviews, and coordinate with the sanctions program on model changes, list updates, and testing affecting operations. A strong data-driven approach and audit-ready communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Finance, Business, Criminal Justice, Accounting, or related field.
• CAMS certification required; CGSS preferred.
• 5–8 years of BSA/AML or sanctions screening experience.
• 2+ years of people leadership in an operations or screening environment.
• Hands-on experience with OFAC/314(a)/PEP screening platforms and disclosure workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of OFAC, 314(a), and PEP screening queues within service standards (OFAC 30 days, 314(a) 14 days, PEP 30 days).
• Supervise the Sanctions Operations Lead and analyst team; allocate workload to avoid concentration of escalations.
• Provide second-level review over dispositions and ensure audit-ready, five-element documentation.
• Monitor productivity and SLA metrics; reduce overtime by onboarding capacity.
• Manage escalation workflow and route true matches for blocking/reporting.
