Job summary

Citi is hiring for a Sanction Screening Senior Analyst in Poland, within the Documentation Screening Team of the Sanction Screening Hub in Olsztyn. The role focuses on screening supporting documentation for sanctions compliance, coordinating workload, and acting as a subject matter expert.

The position requires 2+ years' experience, strong English, leadership and analytical skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Hybrid work and a broad benefits package are offered.

Responsibilities

• Acting as backup for manager in process management and coordinate workload within the team.
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently; act as a SME.
• Handle ad-hoc data analysis and preparation of reports.
• Participate in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours.
• Cooperate with Citi branches globally on a daily basis.
• Extract and classify data from supporting documentation per sanctions regulations and Citi standards.
• Disposition of sanction matches per regulations and Citi standards.
• Take part in regular courses to stay up to date with sanctions regulations.
• Participate in or lead projects and initiatives.

Job Overview

Role is placed within Sanction Screening Hub in Olsztyn, Documentation Screening Team. Documentation Screening Team is responsible for sanction screening of supporting documentation for EMEA countries.

The Sanction Screening Senior Analyst is advanced level role responsible for capturing and screening elements in documentation provided by Clients in line with regulations, and to act as a subject matter expert in process of screening supporting documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Acting as a manager’s backup in process management and proactively coordinating workload within the team
• Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, act as a SME (subject matter expert)
• Dealing with Ad-hock requests such as data analysis, preparation of reports etc
• Participation in tests of applications scheduled outside of working hours
• Cooperation and daily communication with other Citi branches globally
• Extraction and classification of data from supplementary documentation in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
• Disposition of sanction matches in accordance with sanctions regulations and Citi standards
