Position: Assistant Store Manager, Retail

$19.57 per hour

Full-Time / Benefited - DOE/DOQ

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years retail management/supervisory experience.
  • Ability to operate POS/Cash Register and supervise store staff.
  • Valid Driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
  • Effective communication skills with management, staff, customers, and donors.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist.
  • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Operate a telephone.
  • Perform repetitive motions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in daily operations.
  • Take responsibility in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Coach, train, and develop store employees.
  • Maintain excellent customer, donor, and community relations.
  • Coordinate shift change meetings in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Supervise staff to ensure compliance with policies and guidelines.
  • Train new personnel on store policies and procedures.
Additional Involvement

Includes merchandising, personnel issues, time and attendance, and employee training.
