Job summary

Swissport in San Diego is hiring for a kitchen/dining support role. The position involves loading/unloading the dishwasher, cleaning and sanitizing cookware, and maintaining cleanliness in Lounge and Kitchen areas.

You will assist with stock, waste procedures, and support the Chef with Food Safety Management. A Food handler’s license and willingness to work nights/weekends are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading of the dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize cookware, dishes, utensils, and cooking stations.
• Sweep and mop Lounge and Kitchen area.
• Waste away services following recycling procedures.
• Maintaining high levels of hygiene in all areas of the Lounge and Kitchen.
• Receiving and stocking daily food and liquor orders.
• Assist the Chef with applying the Food Safety Management System.

Job Summary

The expected pay rate is $17.75/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.

Your activities

• Loading and unloading of the dishwasher.
• Clean and sanitize cookware, dishes, utensils, and cooking stations throughout the kitchen.
• Sweep and mop the Lounge and Kitchen area as needed.
• Waste away services following recycling procedures.
• Maintaining high levels of hygiene in all areas of the Lounge and Kitchen
• Receiving and stocking daily food and liquor orders
• Assist the Chef with applying the Food Safety Management System consistently.
