Job summary

San Dimas Aquatics is seeking a Senior Development Coach to lead advancing swimmers ages 13–18 as they move from age group to senior-level training and competition. The role is part-time with 12.5–16 hours per week, including regular weekend meets, in San Dimas, California.

You will plan and lead practices, refine technique and race strategy, and foster a positive, competitive team culture while supporting athletes at meets and team events.

Qualifications

• Current USA Swimming Coach Certification preferred (may be completed after hire).
• Experience coaching senior-level or advanced age-group swimmers is preferred.
• Enthusiastic, hardworking, and motivated team player with strong communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills are important for coordinating practices and meets.
• Passion for developing swimmers of all ages and maintaining a positive training culture.
• Knowledge of current technique and training methods is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead practices for senior development athletes.

Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic Senior Development Coach to lead advancing swimmers ages 13–18 who are progressing from age group into senior-level training and competition. This is an excellent opportunity to join a rising program and help shape its culture at a pivotal stage of athlete development.

Hours

12.5–16 / week
depending on meet schedule

Meets

Regular weekend meets throughout the season

Competitive, based on experience
