Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our Photo Operations team. The successful candidate will maintain and improve wafer fabrication processes, identify complex problems, monitor trends, assess results and implement solutions to drive yield and product quality.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to in-line issues in wafer photo process; disposition wafers.
• Qualify wafer fabrication photo processes on advanced tools.
• Communicate clearly to elevate unknowns or issues.
• Analyze data with software to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Adjust process parameters and monitor equipment after maintenance.
• Execute change point management on photo processes/equipment.
• Update SOPs to ensure quality results.
• Work hours: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

Position Summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving our wafer fabrication processes, identifying complex problems, Monitoring trends, assessing results to what is expected, and implementing solutions to drive yield enhancement and customer quality product.

Role and Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to in-line issues in the wafer fabrication photo process, ensuring timely disposition of wafers.
• Qualify wafer fabrication photo processes on advanced tools.
• Attention to detail and very clear communication with the confidence to elevate any unknowns or issues.
• Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions.
• Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance.
• Executes change point management on Photo processes / equipment
• Continuously update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to assure a quality clear result.
• Work hours: A Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45am – 7:15pm) with alternating Wednesdays.

Skills and Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree, equivalent military experience, and/or 5+ years direct applicable Photo semiconductor experience in high volume manufacturing environment.
• Successful candidates will be detail and task oriented and place high value on customer service, teamwork and flexibility.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents.

The current base salary range for this role is between $20.50 - $46.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.
