Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking an individual to join our Photo Operations team in the semiconductor industry. The successful candidate will monitor trends, assess results, communicate clearly, and maintain strict attention to detail for procedurally defined tasks to ensure customer quality results.

The role requires following SOPs, adjusting processes as needed, and performing routine tasks on photoprocesses/equipment.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or other technical certification; Experienced Pharmacy Tech, Dental Assistant or other medical technologist (external equivalent) or 4 years equivalent technical military service.
• Demonstrate a strong focus on detail and task orientation while prioritizing customer service, teamwork, and flexibility.
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and technical documents.
• Ability to structure and execute tedious work activities.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail and clear communication with confidence to escalate unknowns or issues.
• Analyze data using software tools to identify trends and inform processing decisions.
• Adjust process parameters as needed and monitor equipment performance after maintenance.
• Execute routine tasks and follow-up on photo processes/equipment.
• Continuously comprehend and clearly follow SOPs to assure a quality clear result.
• Work hours: B Shift – Sunday through Tuesday (6:45pm – 7:15am) with alternating Saturdays.

The current base salary range for this role is between $26.00 - $33.00/hour. Individual base pay rates will depend on factors including duties, work location, education, skills, qualifications and experience. Total compensation for this position will include a competitive benefits package and may include participation in company incentive compensation programs, which are based on factors to include organizational and individual performance.

This position may include access to controlled information or technology under U.S. export control laws.
