Job summary

Prinova USA in Spring Hill, TN, is seeking a Sampling Clerk to perform representative sampling of raw materials while upholding safety and quality guidelines. The role requires attention to detail and basic math skills, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE as needed.

Responsibilities include following cGMP and SOPs, completing required paperwork, and ensuring samples and labels match lot records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 year of related sampling experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math and problem solving.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to follow cGMP and SOP guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to schedule changes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Complete representative sampling of raw materials per SOPs.
• Follow safety, cGMP, and quality guidelines in all tasks.
• Inspect and label materials; ensure paperwork aligns with lots.
• Identify contamination or abnormalities and notify supervisor.
• Complete necessary paperwork such as Quality Evaluation Sample sheets.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in workspace and follow safety procedures.

Sampling Clerk

Department: Quality

Location: Spring Hill, TN

The Sampling Clerk will complete sampling processes in accordance with company policy while maintaining employee safety and quality of product.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Complete representative sampling process for raw materials;
• Follow cGMP, Food Safety, and Quality guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
• Sample lot numbers of incoming, expired, or compromised containers of raw materials as dictated by sampling paperwork, making sure the lots listed on the paperwork, sample jar labels, and container labels agree;
• Ensure product is free from abnormalities, contamination, and foreign substances;
• Inspect incoming or already inventoried raw materials for any signs of filth, extraneous materials, mold growth, or any other contamination, and notify Supervisor of any issues;
• Measure for work orders and R&D samples;
• Complete required paperwork, such as the Quality Evaluation Sample Sheet;
• Verify product information (Quality Evaluation Sample);
• Perform any other related duties as assigned;
• Follow all safety procedures;
• Follow cGMP guidelines and processes as established in department SOPs;
• Perform other duties as deemed necessary.

Requirements And Skills

• High school diploma or GED required;
• 0-1 year of experience in a similar setting preferred;
• Ability to perform basic math and problem solving skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to follow cGMP and SOP guidelines;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and to perform daily tasks efficiently and independently.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.;
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time;
• Must be able to wear any required PPE such as scrubs, hair net, lab coat, and facemask;
• Ability to work in a packaging area with a moderate powder substance in the air with or without a respirator;
• Ability to work above shoulders;
• Other physical requirements include frequent squatting, bending, twisting, and bilateral wrist movement;
• Ability to work around a variety of different smells and aromas;
• Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
