Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a Sample Logistics specialist to join the VRD in the United States. You will receive samples from global trials, document chain of custody, and manage storage, aliquoting, distribution to labs, and disposal according to protocol.

The role requires a BS/BA in a relevant science with 0–3 years of pharmaceutical experience and proficiency in MS Office. You will operate in a team environment and ensure regulatory compliance across all steps.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science Degree or Bachelor of Arts Degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 0 to 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in a team setting

Responsibilities

• Receive clinical trial samples and log them into an electronic database
• Store, track, and document chain of custody for samples
• Distribute samples to testing labs and manage disposal per procedures
• Maintain and operate Hamilton robotic instruments and freezers
• Ensure compliance with GXP, cGMP and regulatory requirements
• Assist in shipment discrepancies and related paperwork
