Job summary

Pfizer, in the United States on premise, seeks a Sample Logistics Associate to join the VRD Sample Logistics team. You will receive samples from global clinical trials, document chain of custody, store, track, aliquot, and distribute to testing labs, and dispose of samples as required.

The role requires a BS/BA in a scientific field with 0–3 years of pharma experience, proficiency with MS Office, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in a relevant scientific discipline with 0 to 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from clinical trials and enter samples into an electronic database management system.
• Store and track samples; perform aliquoting and distribution to testing labs.
• Perform storage/retrieval using manual freezers and automated storage systems (BiOS).
• Perform manual aliquoting and run Hamilton robotic instrument as needed.
• Assist in shipping samples and lab supplies to external/internal labs.
• Complete documentation per cGMP/GLP and archive as required; dispose of samples per policies.
