Job summary

Labcorp in Madison, WI is seeking a Sample Handling Assistant I to join our team. This role performs sample management and archive tasks, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with SOPs in a fast-paced lab environment.

You will handle labeling, receipt, transfer, inventory, and disposal of samples, support audits, and communicate effectively with internal and external customers while contributing to process improvements and data security.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years experience with Sample Handling.

Responsibilities

• Performs sample management and archive tasks: labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials.
• Maintains sample integrity and accurate protocol/documentation interpretation.
• Assist with audits and training; support QAU inspections and process improvements.
• Communicates effectively with internal and external customers; prioritizes workloads and ensures data security.
