Job description

STARKis seeking an experiencedSamples Floor Production Supervisorfor ourCalhoun, GAlocation. This rolerole isresponsible for producing high-quality carpet samples for customer presentations. This role ensures samples are cut, labeled, and packaged according to company specifications while maintaining production schedules and quality standards.

Schedule:Monday – Friday, 1st shift hours.
Job Type:Full-Time

Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate cutting, labeling and binding machines to produce carpet samples from full-size rolls.
• Follow job orders to prepare the correct style, color, and size samples.
• Maintain accurate records of sample production and material usage.
• Ensure all samples are properly labeled, tagged, and packaged.
• Collaborate with the Sample office and other internal departments to fulfill custom sample requests.
• Monitor inventory of sample production materials and order more supplies of low stock.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with company policies.
• Adhere to quality control standards to ensure consistency in sample output.
• Support other production tasks as needed during downtime or high-demand periods
• Performother tasks and duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in a production or warehouse environment, preferably in samples.
• Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of quality control principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lead by example and effectively motivate a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
