Job summary

Sony Music Publishing in New York is seeking an Associate, Sample Clearance to support US-originating sample clearances. You will work with labels, clearance agents, managers, and lawyers to verify uses and splits, and you will log requests in Lotus Notes while maintaining clearance documentation for the Sampling team.

You are highly responsive, provide excellent service, and can manage a high volume of work with strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Responsible for all Ex. US sample clearances for US originating works with global affiliates.
Interface with labels, clearance agents, managers, lawyers to gather splits and uses.
Log licensing requests in Lotus Notes and manage clearance documentation.
Generate invoices and coordinate with labels and internal stakeholders.
Create sampling initiatives to promote SMP catalogues.
Liaise with affiliates and writer teams to resolve infringements.
