Job summary

Eurofins USA BioPharma Services in Lancaster, PA seeks an organized individual to manage courier communications, receive and document sample kits, and register samples in the Laboratory Information Management System. You will label, store, and track samples while following SOPs and safety procedures.

The role emphasizes strong computer and scientific skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team within a full-time schedule on-site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Strong computer, scientific and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks, keep accurate records, and follow SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Handle communication and paperwork for all couriers that arrive for BioPharmaceutical Sample Administration
• Receive and unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab in an efficient and detailed manner with a high degree of quality
• Interpret and register samples into Laboratory Information Management System
• Label samples and select appropriate storage locations
• Enter samples with insufficient entry information into holds; maintain hold area with follow up and routine inventory
• Process internal environmental monitoring samples
• Place samples into storage
• Read, understand, and carry out standard operating procedures, following all safety precautions and procedures
• Handle incoming informational calls and emails regarding expected samples
• Interact with all levels of project managers and technical staff

• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning

Additional Information

Position is Full-time, Sunday-Thursday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. OR Monday-Friday 10:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
