Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a full-time salvage crew lead to manage and participate in salvage operations at the distribution facility. You will lead the crew, organize tasks, and ensure safe, timely trailer moves in coordination with the yard and switcher.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train staff while maintaining productivity and cost controls in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
• Willingness to work the required schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead salvage crew in the distribution facility and act in the supervisor's absence.
• Plan, organize, delegate and follow up with associates to complete duties.
• Key trailers entered into Yard Management System and coordinate with the switcher for trailer moves.
• Ensure safety, order and productivity across all areas of responsibility.
• Train full-time and contract crew on salvage tasks and manage workload coverage.
• Recommend procedural changes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure compliance with Delhaize America standards in safety and accuracy.
