Job summary

ADUSA Distribution is seeking a Salvage Associate to efficiently move and maintain salvage materials and keep fleet trailers clean and ready for shipping. You will separate and organize salvage items, assist with reclaim processes, and ensure accurate trailer handling within our distribution network.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service, can read product identifiers, and operate a PC for data entry. Strong teamwork and attention to detail are essential in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unload salvage trailers returning from retail stores.
• Sort salvage items (milk crates, pallets, cardboard, boxes, totes).
• Prepare and maintain fleet trailers for shipping and reclaim processes.
• Load salvage and reclaim materials as required.
• Wash trailer interiors and ensure cleanliness.
• Record trailer movements in Yard Management System where applicable.
• Coordinate with switcher for accurate trailer moves and timing.
• Follow sanitation practices and suggest efficiency improvements.
