Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies seeks an Experienced State and Local Tax (SALT) Tax Preparer to support our SALT practice by preparing accurate state and local tax returns for clients across industries. The ideal candidate has at least two years of tax preparation experience and a desire to expand multistate tax knowledge.

The role collaborates with senior staff to handle state income, franchise taxes, extensions, estimated payments, nexus considerations, and notices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or MST required.
• 1+ years of tax preparation experience in a CPA/public accounting environment.
• Experience with state and local income and franchise tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Prepare state and local income and franchise tax returns for various entities.
• Prepare extensions, estimated payments, and related filings.
• Analyze client financial data and document tax workpapers.
