Job summary

A reputable public accounting firm is looking to add a Senior State & Local Tax (SALT) Manager to their growing tax team. This role focuses on leading client engagements, mentoring staff, and contributing to the expansion of the SALT practice.

As Senior SALT Manager you will lead and manage SALT consulting and compliance engagements, research complex state tax issues, advise clients on planning and compliance, manage relationships, and oversee quality control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA required (MST preferred)
• 8+ years of State & Local Tax experience in public accounting or industry
• Strong technical knowledge of state and local tax matters
• Proven leadership, communication, and client management skills
• Ability to utilize firm technology to enhance client service
