Job summary

Weaver seeks a State and Local Tax (SALT) Senior Manager for their Sales & Use Tax division. In this role, you'll lead multiple complex tax engagements and provide innovative planning ideas for diverse clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of state and local tax experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. You'll also mentor staff while staying updated on tax law changes to benefit our firm and clients.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in state and local tax, focusing on indirect tax compliance.
• Ability to manage and develop staff in a public accounting environment.
• Knowledge of tax law changes and implications for clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales & Use Tax division and manage complex tax engagements.
• Provide written communications on key issues to the firm and clients.
• Develop Associates and Senior Associates in tax skillsets.
