Constellation is seeking a SALT Senior Analyst in Baltimore to apply state and local sales/use tax knowledge to audits, planning, and compliance. You will review returns, supporting schedules, and data to defend audits and determine proper tax positions, coordinating with Accounting, FP&A, Legal and Treasury.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in state sales/use tax consulting or 2+ years in a large public accounting/tax firm in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of state tax laws, rules, and regulations.
• Excellent research, analysis, and writing/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to collaborate with Tax, Accounting, FP&A, Legal and Treasury.

Responsabilités

• Investigates and resolves technical state tax issues related to business development, planning, and audits.
• Assists with complex state tax planning strategies and identifying opportunities to minimize state tax burden.
• Reviews tax workpapers, schedules, reports, & state tax returns to ensure compliance and proper accounting.
• Researches complex state tax matters and prepares supporting memoranda (e.g., ASC 740).
