Job summary

NPAworldwide's Newark, California salt refinery seeks a Refinery Superintendent to oversee production and processing of salt products, ensuring safety, food quality, and financial performance. The role directs 2–3 supervisors in a hands-on environment.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and at least four years in a food manufacturing setting, with preference for Lean Six Sigma and supervisory experience. Strong regulatory compliance is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of related work experience in a food manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, food safety and environmental compliance program standards are implemented.
• Lead production and quality management deliverables to meet standards and oversee 2–3 supervisors.
• Oversee capital and operating budgets for a single plant to achieve financial targets.
• Develop and coach team; manage hiring, performance and disciplinary actions.
