Job summary

Job Description

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Serve meals to hotel guests according to established rules and have knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. You will report to the F&B General Manager/F&B Manager.

Primary Tasks:

• You will deliver and collect food trays from guest rooms and keep hallways clear.
• Replenish supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes at the room service station.
• Complete side work as deemed necessary by management to ensure the smooth operations of the department.
• Follow all company and safety and security procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications.
• You will maintain clean and sanitary conditions including counter tops, utensils, equipment, and refrigeration following state, county, and company health regulations and work safety regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• You will greet and serve guests in a friendly manner and use good.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to handle cash responsibly
• Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages) as they relateto POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
• Ability to focus on speed on all room service trays
• Teamwork skills are required to promote overall success and enjoyment of the guest
