Job summary

Fantastic Sams Cut & Color in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Senior Stylist with the opportunity to transition to Store Manager. Start on a PPH pay plan with tips, progressing to a flat-rate management role after onboarding.

You will manage daily operations, lead the team, coach staff on pricing and service delivery, and maintain strong client relationships while aiming for targets in retail and service quality.

Qualifications

• Retail sales: consistently hit $100–$200 weekly in retail products.
• Redken color expert: formulation, toning, and corrective color skills.
• Cost control & pricing: set standard measures, track usage, compare pricing.
• Hair extensions: experience preferred or willingness to be trained.
• Full service menu: cuts, color, styling, and specialty services.

Responsibilities

• Perform full service menu and meet weekly retail goals.
• Open/close store and handle daily operations.
• Coordinate schedules and lead the team by example.
• Identify operational gaps and propose solutions to management.
• Create a standard measurement cheat sheet for services.
• Ensure accurate service/product pricing and coach staff.
• Track inventory and trigger reorders with suppliers.
• Maintain client notes and consultations in the salon system.
